Understanding the above need, ECC has introduced the below mentioned course that is designed based on the guidelines of Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council and in consultation with various relevant industry partners.

Certificate in Analytical Techniques in Chemical Analysis (UGC Sponsored Career Oriented Course)

India aspires to become a developed nation by the year 2020 and this requires substantial vertical growth especially in the field of industrialization. This would require a very large number of suitably trained personal also in the near future. Chemical analyses of various substances play a very significant role in modern industries like Chemical Pharmaceutical, Plants, Oil & Gas, Cement, Glass, Metals, Plastics, Food, Cotton etc. and to meet this future requirement, it would be good if the candidate has an additional “hands-on-training” while he / she pursues studies at graduation level so that the student gets assistance in finding a suitable placement in the industries and other organizations. Spectroscopy is one of the most trusted and vital tool of science in the field of ‘Chemical Analysis’. Almost all Industries, National Institutes Organizations, Universities etc are employing spectroscopy in various types of Analysis.

Ultraviolet – Visible Spectroscopy, IR Spectroscopy and Flame Photometry find great importance in Chemical Analysis and hence this certificate course is framed to help the students to acquaint themselves with these modern day analytical instruments and subsequently use them in chemical analysis of various substances (which often include real samples).
